The Top 10 Things I have Learned
This is my 500th blog post. I guess you could say that I am a bit prolific in my writing.... or, I am just a bit long winded.
The best advantage for this blog is an opportunity for me to learn new things. I get the opportunity to research and formulate ideas as I write. I feel a little withdrawn from learning when I don't write.
I thought that I would share the top ten things that I have learned during the course of writing this blog (I guess you can call it my best of...)
These are in no particular order.
- Just because you call someone a valued customer doesn't make it so. If you send them a letter, use their name and prove it.
- The customer experience is the most important thing in trying to gain new business and maintain your current business.
- Lack of consideration for you customers' time can lose you money.
- Many times, common sense is lost where it shouldn't be.
- We tend to go over board with warning signs.
- Failure is good... it is the only way we can grow.
- The fine print makes the deal look like a lie.
- We buy like we sell... or, we want to be sold to like we sell.
- Spammers make us lose our convenience... really, anyone that tries to breach our security, makes live more complicated for us. But, sometimes, we do it to ourselves.
- People think that if someone says it, it must be true... well, not so much.
