The politics of pots and kettles
Earlier this week, there was a summit of governor’s called by President Obama. The most interesting to me was one news report indicating they were going to talk about “fiscal responsibility.”
The fact that elected elite vote to spend yours and money today and put this country into such significant deficit that our children’s children will be still struggling to see the end of debt tells me that our elected officials are too entrenched in the attitude of “spend what I want” that this level of hypocrisy is laughable.
These are the people that are spending over $23,000 of every tax payers money in less than 1 year just in a bunch of “stimulus” bills.
The last people that can claim any level of fiscal responsibility are those that so freely spend your money and mine without thought of the reality they are causing.

Is It Really The Economy, Stupid? Or, Barstool Economics.
I know that it is rough out there for a lot of people. I am fortunate to be in a profession that is growing very fast. Our business is increasing and I am happy to say that we are able to employ more people… it only seems to be growing for the foreseeable future… unless congress does something stupid (which is bound to happen in one form or another).
To be honest, I am not really concerned about the economy. I, like many entrepreneurs, make my own rain and I want to bring as many people along for the ride.
I received an email today on barstool economics. This is attributed to David R. Kamerschen, Ph.D. Profession of Economics at University of Georgia. I have seen in in various formats around the web, so I don’t know if the author is attributed properly, but I like it.
